1. The Splash Family Aquatic Center

  • Features: The Splash Pool located at Fairview Park in Sherman offers hours of family fun! This aquatic center feels like a water park as it has two 2-story water slides, a drop slide, a diving board, lazy river, and life guards on duty. You’ll also find a special toddler pool area with zero-depth entry, a small slide, and spray area. If you’re looking to host a birthday party or celebrate another special occasion, consider a private reservation or party cabana.

2. The Spray Ground at Hawn Park 

  • About: This colorful splash pad is situated on a 20 acre park on the east side of Sherman. There are tumble buckets, multiple spray features, restrooms, and several picnic tables covered by shade structures.
  • Age limit: Best for toddlers and younger kids
  • Address: 1202 S Dewey Ave, Sherman, TX
  • Hours: The water features will run from Early Spring through Late Fall. Each day the water will turn on at 9AM and will shut off at 8PM
  • Cost: FREE

3. Waterloo Pool

  • About: Just a short drive from Sherman is Waterloo Pool in Denison, TX. This indoor swimming pool offers recreational swimming, lap swimming, fitness classes, pool parties, and even mermaid parties! This is also a great place for swim lessons.
  • Age limit: All ages allowed
  • Address: 1501 W Brock St, Denison, TX 75020
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 10 a.m to 6 p.m, Saturday 10 a.m to 6 p.m, Sunday 12 p.m to 6 p.m

4. Texoma Health Foundation Park

  • About: This splash pad in Denison is located on a 66 acre park. There are restrooms, a walking trail, and a sand volleyball court!
  • Age limit: All ages

  • Hours: Open May 1 – September 30, 10am-8pm daily
  • Cost: FREE

5. Forest Park Splash Pad

  • About: This splash pad is also located in Denison, TX, just a 15 minute drive from Sherman! This sprayground also features restrooms, a picnic pavilion with tables, and a playground.
  • Age limit: All ages
  • Address: 300 W Crawford Street, Denison, TX 75020
  • Hours: Open May 1 – September 30, 10am-8pm daily
  • Cost: FREE

5. Eisenhower State Park

  • About: Did you know there’s a sandy beach at Eisenhower State Park? This is the perfect place for kids to splash and swim along the shores of Lake Texoma. Bring the family for a day of fun exploring the swimming cove, fish from one of the fishing piers, and hiking along the trails.
  • Age limit: All ages

  • Hours: Open daily, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m
  • Cost: Adult: $5, Child 12 years and under are free
