  • Joya is an inclusive, glow-in-the-dark playground that comes alive at night! It allows for day and evening play as special lights illuminate each night at sunset. The standout play structure is the 27ft Lit Sphere! It has 6 levels of large hammocks with multiple slides and climbing structures. We love that there are separate play areas for big kids and toddlers! Other play equipment includes swings, an obstacle course, zip line, spin zone, and glow seating.

2. Frank Kent’s Dream Park

  • Dream Park at Trinity Park is an all abilities playground that’s great for all ages and abilities! It features a rubberized flooring and separate areas for younger and older children. We love the variety of accessible swings and the whimsical, bright colors! The latching gate will help to keep little ones contained!

3. Harwood Park

  • This multi-use park has so much to offer! Kids will love the mammoth-themed playground. There’s also a splash pad for warmer days, a multi-use court, two gravel dog parks, picnic table area, and lots of green space. Community events like movie nights, yoga, and live music are hosted on the stage area!

4. Flag Pole Hill Park

  • This playground was designed to be inclusive for kids of all ages and abilities! Some elements are designed to accommodate children on the Autism spectrum for alone play. There’s a huge rope climbing structure with a slide, parent-child swings, plus green space and walking trails.

7. Casey’s Clubhouse at Dove Park

  • This children’s park is great for all ages and abilities! They play structures are accessible by wheelchair and they’ve included other adaptive equipment as well. Kids will love the bright colors! There’s a big, shaded pavilion which would be perfect for a birthday party or a picnic. While there is some mulch, the majority of the playground has a rubberized surface.

8. Cottonwood Park

  • The Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park is fun for kids of all abilities! It’s a great playground for toddlers thanks to its latching gate. The park also has a pond, bridge, and lots of ducks!

11. Hope Park

  • Hope Park at Frisco Commons is huge and has plenty of features to entertain all ages and abilities. This playground features adaptive play equipment, a sensory area, and has wheelchair-accessible areas. We love that is has separate play areas for little and big kids, is fenced, and has a rubberized ground covering! Kids will love the adjacent splash pad during the summer months.

12. Bicentennial Park

  • This gated playground is huge! It has a sandbox, splash area, play structures for big and little kids, a zip line, slides, and more! There’s also a baseball field, picnic areas, and restrooms within the greater park.

13. Prairie Creek Park

  • The biggest draw to this Dallas area park is the waterfall! There is a kid-friendly hiking trail called Huck Finn Trail which is shaded by trees and can accommodate strollers. There’s also a really cool bridge along the path where you’ll find turtles swimming below.

There’s a seated zip line, accessible merry-go-round, multiple swing types, wide walkways on the play structures, and a turfed playground! It’s fully fenced to keep little ones from running off as well. There are restrooms and nearby walking trails.

  • This first responder themed playground is super fun for little ones! It has fire and police station play structures that are perfect for imaginative play. There’s even a little ambulance that children can pretend to drive! It’s located right next to a fire station, so kids might even get the chance to see or hear a real fire truck.

  • Kids and parents will love this inclusive playground in the heart of Dallas! Allan Shivers Park was created for patients and families at Scottish Rite Hospital, but they’ve kindly opened it for the public to enjoy. The rubber flooring, wide walkways, and variety of activities make this playground great for toddlers and children of all ages and abilities. There are multiple shaded pavilions and restrooms onsite.

20. Midlothian Community Park

  • This playground is beautiful and super unique! It was designed to accommodate children of various abilities and ages. The first thing you’ll notice is a huge slide that older kids will love! There are a couple of smaller play structures that are perfect for toddlers and crawlers. There’s also an adjacent splash pad and restrooms!

  • This playground is gated, shaded, and huge! There are separate play areas for toddlers and big kids. The toddler area has cute playhouses that they’ll love! There are also clean restrooms, water fountains, hiking trails, and a fantastic splash pad just steps away.

23. Teddy Bear Park

  • Lakeside Park is a great spot to visit for many reasons, but we especially love the sweet and whimsical Teddy Bear statues! This is a great spot for a picnic or a walk along Turtle Creek. There are lots of geese and some bridges too! The entire family will love this beautiful spot.

24. Williams Park

  • Williams Park has a beautiful pond surrounded by walking trails. There’s also a fishing pier where you might catch catfish and bass. The playground area is equally as great!
